Axis TQ1828-VE is a robust, outdoor-ready safety cabinet for compatible Axis PTZ cameras (not included). TQ1828-VE provides secure housing for electrical equipment, comes preassembled with an electrical safety kit, and offers a secure mounting surface for the camera on its door. The safety cabinet is built to withstand anything that comes its way: extreme temperatures, harsh environmental challenges, vandalism, mechanical stress, and vibrations. It meets the 4M4 Standard against vibrations and mechanical stress and the IP66 Standard against dust and water ingress — plus other durability ratings. For all its prowess, it has a streamlined installation process for fast, effortless deployment in the field. Axis has included a stainless steel mounting plate, pre-mounted cable gaskets, DIN rail, and cabinet door screws. TQ1828-VE works for housing and protecting both mains power and low-voltage equipment. Use it to protect equipment in virtually any outdoor surveillance scenario, including long-range and city deployments.

TQ1828-VE comes preassembled with Electrical Safety Kit A 120 V AC, which combines multiple important functions in one compact solution. It is a professional-grade surge protector, a miniature circuit breaker (MCB fuse), and a terminal block.
