Algo 8197-IC is a ruggedized Singlewire InformaCast Compliant horn speaker. 8197-IC comes with an InformaCast license preinstalled and can receive audio announcements from InformaCast, making it an essential component in your mass notification ecosystem. As an outdoor paging speaker, 8197-IC is the real deal. It meets the strict IPX9 Standard and is made from UV-stabilized, industrial-grade plastic; the mounting hardware is made from stainless steel. It has an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to +122°F. Rain, snow, dust, high-pressure water, corrosion, impacts, extreme cold, extreme heat — it resists it all.

8197-IC is a horn speaker with a directional audio dispersion calculated to deliver voice messages, tones, and emergency alerts loudly and clearly, regardless of ambient noise and environmental challenges. And you can attach up to three Algo 1197 Satellite Speakers (not included) in the same cable run to extend the speaker system in a simple, cost-effective manner. Audio performance and durability characteristics are identical between the 8197 and the satellite speakers; power is delivered to all speakers in the run via PoE with up to 16 W shared between them.
