Axis M4338-PLVE is a compact 12 MP panoramic camera that delivers 180° or 360° views using a stereographic fisheye lens. Intended for indoor or outdoor installation, M4338-PLVE features improved sensor technology, which to deliver up to 30% higher resolution when compared with previous generations. It takes up to 12 MP video: 3536 x 3536 px resolution. M4338-PLVE features AI-enhanced functionality powered by the purpose-built Axis ARTPEC-9 System on a Chip. The panoramic camera uses AI models trained specifically for 360° fisheye video and supports a range of camera-side dewarped views. Plus it has a Sharpdome 360 cover that improves image quality across the entire field of view, including at the corners. Put everything together and you get professional video surveillance coverage with no blind spots.

M4338-PLVE's powerful SoC also enables a range of AI-powered analytics, which come with the camera. These includes Axis Object Analytics for classifying objects across a range of scenarios. Axis Image Health Analytics detects tampering and image degradation to ensure picture quality. Axis Scene Metadata makes video much more searchable, improving its utility, while also delivers actionable insights for you through intelligent scene analysis.

On top of its AI-powered analytics, M4338-PLVE has a stereographic fisheye lens and large camera sensor to professional-grade video quality in any lighting conditions. We mean any lighting: it supports day/night functionality and has built-in OptimizedIR infrared lights. And M4338-PLVE is built to last. It meets the IP66 and IK10 Standards and has an extended operating temperature range, making it useful wherever you need it most. To secure your video evidence, the camera includes Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform for securing the camera, including FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified key storage. M4338-PLVE reduces bandwidth and storage load by supporting Axis Zipstream video feed optimization and the ultra-efficient AV1 and H.265 (HEVC) video compression standards. M4338-PLVE is compliant with ONVIF G, M, S, and T Profiles for interoperability with standards-based first- and third-party systems and devices.
