Axis P3947-R takes high-resolution security video in trains, trams, and similar vehicles and rolling stock. Designed for indoor installation, P3947-R is a 5 MP surveillance camera in a compact, robust dome; it has a built-in microphone for audio pickup, adding a second layer of security. At 5 MP, it takes video at better than twice the resolution of a 1080p Full HD camera; to capture detail in fast-movement scenarios, it can take video at 1080p Full HD resolution at 60 fps. This model of P3947-R has a wide-angle 2.8 mm lens and M12 connector. It is compliant with numerous transportation industry regulations like EN 50155 and EN 45545, and meets many durability standards, including the IP66/67 and IK10 Ratings.

P3947-R is an advanced, AI-powered camera that improves video quality with incredible features. Lightfinder 2.0 provides accurate color reproduction even in extreme low-light, and Forensic WDR retains detail in high-contrast lighting; your video will be much more effective. It addition, Axis has developed scene profiles that let you fine-tune the video for specific scenarios like forensic, vivid, and traffic overview. And it is an ultra-secure network camera: Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, protects it. Edge Vault includes FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and more.
